Hi everybody!  It has been a long time since I wrote!  I was just busy with school & stuff.  

I'm on a summer swim team.  So far, I have only done 2 meets.  But 4 more to go!  I have done a writing camp last week and I am going to post my writing on LJ!  And yes, Garbo passed away about a week ago.  I hear, see and smell her.  She was a great cat!  I really miss her.  But I still make "Garbo songs".  (I make up songs and scream them!)  

Last night I went to Shady Grove for my Uncle Lance's b-day.  But no, wait!  I rearranged my room!  I got new sheets and I am going to get new walls!  I am so excited!  On Sunday Night I began Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.  I love the book!  I already have it on my iPod!  I will be writing more so stay tuned!

Beating on my window
I look up and see trickles down
My window.  Falling down,
The weeping of Mother Nature,
I squint to look at a figure
Of a tree.  The fogginess
Blocks my seeing.  Noontime,
But looks as night time.
The dance of raindrops on my window. 

I gaze out in the night
The sun makes shadows for everything
Birds are eating supper at the 
Birdfeeder.  And then evening breeze - 
Shaking leaves.  The night air is cool.

Our neighbors have two golden retrievers.  Their first one is named Josie.  Josie is about two years old.  She is big, sweet and is very good at playing ball.  When she runs her shiny, glossy long hair shines and bounces in the sunlight.  Josie is also very obedient.  When Mr. Thompson says sit, she sits.  When he says "Josie" really fast, she runs and gets the ball.  Murphy is their new puppy.  She is about nine weeks.  Murphy has needle sharp teeth.  Once I was facing Josie and I felt tiny needles in my ankle.  I saw Murphy and ran.  She followed.  Murphy is about 12 inches tall.  Mr. and Mrs. Thompson are so nice.  They live alone with the dogs.  When ever we leave they say, "Come again any time!"  I think that Josie and Murphy will be spoiled rotten.

This weekend my Grandma and Grandpa came in - in secret!  You see, my Grandpa is going to have surgery and they can't come in at Christmas.  So they decided to see us one last time.  They came in on Thursday, November 6, 2008.  We had fun.  On Saturday we went to Dick Nichols park then went to Cheddars (a yummy restaurant).  On Sunday we had BBQ burgers.  So we have a fun/busy weekend.

I have a seventeen year old sister named Pepper.  Her favorite color is pink.  She LOVES to shop at the mall with her friends.  She also likes the movies.  My cousin, Ariel, is the same age.  Pepper loves the latest fashion styles.  She likes reading fashion magazines and listening to her iPod Nano.  He has a pink cell phone. 

Pepper has a boyfriend.  His name is Jake.  It seems he is ALWAYS over. 

Pepper is really busy.  But in her free time we hang out together.  Her nickname is Pepsi.  She loves her cat, Sugar Cookie.  Pepper is lucky because she has a television in her room. 

Pepsi is also fun to bug.  She can be really bossy.  Have you heard of Garlic?  He's my littlest brother.  Pepsi loves Garlic. 

Pepsi loves her family, but although I can be irritating, she loves me the most.  I even get to talk on her cell phone! 

Pepsi is the best big sissy EVER!

For homework I had to write a poem and so I wrote a poem and I told it to my mom. She said to post it on my blog so here it is!

Swishing and swaying in the breeze
Mary stops and sees
A bush of honeysuckle and bees.

"They smell so sweet," said Mary.
"Let's go drink them until they're airy."

I went to Detroit, Michigan with my family.  I got up at 5:30 a.m.  We left for the airport at 6:45 a.m.  The plane left at 8:45 a.m.  The plane was very small.  We were in the last row.  The plane landed at 12:55. 

             

I went to Port Royal with my best friend Kate.  We had a great time!  We had to drive for four in a half hours, but  when we got there we had a blast!  The pool was huge!  I think someone said that the pool was more than 100 feet long.  It was four big pools stuck together!  They were stuck together by a small waterfall.  I loved to jump off of the waterfalls.  In one of the pools there was an island.  The island had real palm trees.  The trees had something that I liked to call "leather," it also had some sort of nut or fruit.  We loved to pick the leather and nuts and pretended that we lived on the island.  Our condo was beautiful.  The kitchen counters were made out of marble.  We had two decks!  We ate every meal outside.  On Saturday night we ate at the restaurant.  There was a field before the beach.  In the field were flowers and cactus.  But there was a boardwalk.  We ran from our parents onto the beach.  We kicked off our flip-flops and ran into the ocean.  But before we went in the water we grabbed our noodles.  We loved to go wave riding.  There were a little bit of jelly fish.  Kate got stung and her mom got stung and so did my brother.  We dug a really deep hole.  I found a coin in the sand.  The coin had a two on it.  It was made out of gold.  In the sand there were these tiny animals called "sand fleas".  I held one as big as your fingernail.  They were white.  We got up early and saw the sun rise over the ocean.  On Saturday the waves were stronger than Friday.  Kate said, "The stronger the better to go wave riding."  It stung when the salt water got in my eyes and nose.  We ate snacks on the beach.  I loved to dance on the beach.  I did a cartwheel into the water.  I was exhausted at night and went right to sleep.  In our condo there was a glass case.  And in the case were shells.  The shells were big and beautiful.  On Sunday when we left we went to a little beach shop.  In the shop there were packets of shells, wind chimes and lots more ocean treasures.  It was the best beach trip ever!
